The Board of Directors, Management and Staff of the National Commercial Bank of Anguilla Ltd (NCBA) welcome Mr. Victor Boyce as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective August 12, 2024. Mr. Boyce replaces Mrs. Sharmaine Vaughan, who resigned as CEO in February 2024. The NCBA team thanks Mrs. Vaughan again for her invaluable contribution to the Bank during her tenure.
Our new CEO, Mr. Boyce is a career banker with 25 years’ experience in the industry – spanning primarily Corporate and Investment Banking, Retail Banking, Operations and Treasury, and Wealth Management. He commenced his banking career as a Teller in 1994 with Scotiabank and assumed progressively senior roles, culminating in the role of Director & Team Lead-Corporate & Commercial Banking for the Scotiabank Barbados business. He then went on to serve as Director, Corporate Business Development – OECS, and Country Head, St. Lucia, for three (3) years with CIBC Caribbean, where he contributed to significant growth in the business over this period. He spent the past three (3) years as Managing Director with ANSA Merchant Bank, Barbados, leading significant change (including rebranding from Consolidated Finance to ANSA Merchant Bank), introducing innovative products to the market and growing the size of the business during his tenure. He has built a strong network of clients across the region, having lived, and worked in various islands, including Barbados, Dominica, Saint Lucia, St Kitts & Nevis and Trinidad & Tobago and in Toronto, Canada.
Mr. Boyce has a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science (First Class Hons) from UWI Cave Hill and an MSc in Economics and Finance from the University of York in the UK. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) with the Sagicor Cave Hill School of Business & Management at UWI, Cave Hill Campus. Mr. Boyce is an avid tennis player and fan and loves to hike and jet-ski whenever he gets the opportunity.
Mr. Boyce is extremely delighted and honored to be joining the Team at NCBA as CEO. He is looking forward to working with the Executive team, staff, Board and other stakeholders to unleash the boundless potential and take the Bank to the next level.
